Project Overview
Established in 2001, Melbourne Conversations are free public talks aimed at informing, engaging and inspiring Melburnians to discuss big opportunities and challenges facing a capital city, across themes ranging from community and culture to the economy and technology.
From 2025 to 2026, I collaborated with the City of Melbourne and Good One Creative on the Melbourne Conversation Series, to develop event identities for a series of 10 public events. Working from the event title and topic, I was responsible for creating distinctive visual identities that communicated each theme in an engaging and visually compelling way.
Designed to be both expressive and adaptable, the identities were applied across Meta campaigns, EDMs, and animated presentation screens used during the live events. The presentations took place at Federation Square and The Edge theatre, with the visual identities helping to create a cohesive experience from audience promotion through to the event itself.
Together, the project established a recognisable visual language for the Melbourne Conversation Series while giving each event its own distinct character and presence.
